Using the Crop Tool
The Crop Tool is available in the Full Color Ordering System, ImageNet, SportsNet, and EventLink ordering systems. Crop any image in your order for multiple aspect ratios. To learn how to use the crop tool, please click on the link below:
Cropping Tips:
- Once you create an order, do not edit images in an external editor
(such as Photoshop).
The ordering system will not be updated with the new image information. - Images used in templates need to be cropped separately.
Using the crop button in the Thumbnail panel or the Image panel of a prints order will only affect its cropping for a print order. To crop an image used in a template, drag the image into the template you wish to use, and then double-click on the image in the template that you wish to crop. Note that the only aspect ratio available in the crop tool (using this mode) will be the correct ratio for the image's node in the template you've selected. - Resetting the Crop will remove custom crop settings for all ratios.
If you click on the Reset Crop button, you will reset the crop settings for all of the image's aspect ratios (4x6, 5x7, etc). - If you've already cropped individual aspect ratios separately, do
not use the lock feature.
The lock feature should be used to quickly crop all aspect ratios at once. Using it after you've set custom crop settings for different aspect ratios will affect the settings of those images based on the independent crop settings you made earlier.
