Images/Thumbnails Not Appearing in eProofs:
How to adjust your Java memory settings.
If you are not seeing all of the images and their thumbnails in the window
after you choose a directory, this typically means that your Java memory
settings need to be adjusted.
You must be running the Java Runtime Environment 1.4.2_06 or above.
Full Color recommends using version 1.4.2_06.

Special Note:
Mozilla Firefox is recommended (and required for Windows Vista users)
Internet Explorer users who are having this problem can follow the step-by-step instructions below, but if it does
not solve the problem, we recommend switching to Mozilla Firefox.
Additionally, we recommend that all users of Windows Vista
use Mozilla Firefox as your browser with popup blockers disabled. Currently,
Internet Explorer on Windows Vista is not compatible with our ordering

Close all web browser windows first. Then go to the Start
Menu, and open the Control Panel. If your Control Panel window
has a blue background with the words "Pick a category" at
the top, then click on Switch to Classic View in the left
side of the window. Otherwise if it has a white background, then
continue to Step 2. |

Find the icon for the Java Plugin in the Control Panel window.
- If it is labeled "Java Plug-in": You have
version 1.4.2. Double-click on it and continue to Step
3.
- If it is labeled "Java": You have version 1.5
or above. Double-click on it and continue to Step
4.

For Java 1.4.2 Only. Click on the Advanced tab.
In the field labeled Java Runtime Parameters, enter in the following value: -Xmx384m
Finally, click on Apply to save the settings and close the window. |

For Java 1.4.2 users, you're done!

For Java 1.5 Only. Click on the Java tab, and then
click on the View button that's in the upper part of the
window, under "Java Applet Runtime Settings". |

For Java 1.5 Only. In the window that appears, find the Java
Runtime Parameters column and enter in the following value, in every row of this column: -Xmx384m
Finally, click on OK, and then OK again in the main Java Control Panel window. |

For Java 1.5 users, you're done!
Step-by-step instructions for Mac users:

Quit all web browser applications first (Safari, Firefox, etc.). Then, open up your system hard drive, typically called "Macintosh HD".
Browse to Applications > Utilities > Java > J2SE 5.0, and double-click on Java Preferences. |

Click on the General tab. In the field labeled Java Runtime Parameters, enter in the following
value: -Xmx384m
Finally, click on Save to close the window. |
